Web Play Media started in 1999 as favor to a few friends who wanted to start an online business. After 12 years, the concepts we had then are the same that we have today.
The first is to make having an online image as seamless and easy as possible. We know people don’t have much time and the time they do have they don’t want to spend researching how to start your own site, looking up what SEO means (that’s how Google decides who makes it to the top of their list in case you were wondering) and where to get all the different services from.
The second concept was the idea that you can be the administrator. We understand that your budget isn’t big and even though you may only have basic computer skills, you don’t want to pay $50 here, $100 there for every little update you want to make. Wouldn’t it be easier if you could make those minor changes yourself? We think so. And if there is a concept that it is too difficult or you don’t have the time just let us know and we can help out.
The third and final concept was great support. Everyone has questions and sometimes people feel silly asking someone or even worse having to ask them same question over again to different people. With our approach, you get one-on-one support to answer your question correctly and promtly.
The reason we do the work we do is because we enjoy it. Helping others start their small business and make it grow is the reason that we do what we do. We have gone through those same growing pains and we know all the hoops you will need to jump through. The advantage is that today it is even easier to start your own website, online store, or company.
Through word of mouth, our company grew from one project a year to several and now includes web development, logos, and even iOS applications. Our success has been down to the fact that we care and if you succeed then we succeed.
